दिल्ली में हुई हिंसा के कारण लोगों के दिलों में दहशत बैठ चुकी है हिंदू हो या मुसलमान सभी लोग दंगाइयों से बुरी तरह डरे हुए हैं | ऐसे में कांग्रेस ने केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शाह से उनके इस्तीफे की मांग की कांग्रेस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी के साथ नेता प्रतिपक्ष अधीर रंजन चौधरी समेत कई सांसदों ने संसद परिसर में महात्मा गांधी की मूर्ति के सामने प्रदर्शन किया और गृहमंत्री अमित शाह के इस्तीफे की मांग की | वहीँ कांग्रेस के जुझारू नेता और राहुल प्रियंका गांधी सेना के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष पंडित जगदीश शर्मा का कहना है कि मैं समझता हूं कि भारत के गृहमंत्री ही अफवाह फैला रहे हैं | अमित शाह भड़काऊ भाषण देते हैं | कभी वह कहते हैं कि बटन इतना जोर से दबाओ कि करंट शाहीन बाग में लगे और कोलकाता में जाकर जय श्रीराम के नारे लगाते हैं | उनका कहना है कि राम रहीम सबके दिल में हैं, राम रहीम का राजनीति में प्रयोग मत करो | इससे देश का माहौल खराब हो रहा है | अब तो लोगों को रोटी कपड़ा और मकान नहीं चाहिए, लोगों को शांति चाहिए | आप हर चीज में राजनीति मत करिए, राजनीति छोड़ दीजिए | सत्ता के लालच में देश को बर्बाद मत कीजिए | प्रधानमंत्री जी आप को देश को बताना होगा कि आप देश में शांति चाहते हैं या हिंसा ? इसी के साथ पंडित जगदीश शर्मा ने यह भी कहा कि अमित शाह गृह मंत्री होने के नाते दिल्ली में अमन चैन को बनाए नहीं रख पाए इसलिए उन्हें तत्काल प्रभाव से इस्तीफा दे देना चाहिए |

Management Education and Research Institute (MERI), Janakpuri, New Delhi (affiliated to
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) and MERI College of Engineering and
Technology, Sampla jointly organised the 18th National IT Seminar on Knowledge Engineering
on February 29, 2020. The event emphasised on Knowledge Engineering along with its related
dynamics.

The programme commenced with the inaugural session graced by the Chief Guest, Shri Ajay
Kumar Gupta, Director, Indian Council of Social Science Research; Shri I.P. Aggarwal,
President, MERI Group of Institutions; Prof. Lalit Aggarwal, Vice President, MERI Group of
Institutions; Shri S.K. Aggarwal, Chief Finance Officer; Dr. S.K. Goel, Director; Prof. A.K.
Aggarwal, Dean; and other dignitaries. The session consisted of the traditional lamp lighting
session by dignitaries, National Anthem, MERI- Code of Conduct, followed by a student
presentation by on Knowledge Engineering.

The welcome address was presented by Prof. Lalit
Aggarwal, wherein he spoke about the technical, scientific and social aspects pertaining to
building, maintaining and using knowledge- based system. Furthermore, the inaugural address
was presented by Shri I.P. Aggarwal, who deliberated about the the various building blocks of
knowledge engineering. This was followed by an in-depth address by the Chief Guest for the
seminar, Shri Ajay Kumar Gupta who not only enlightened the audience about knowledge
engineering but also highlighted the functioning of ICSSR. The session concluded with a vote
of thanks by Prof. A.K. Aggarwal, with his views on the seminar and thanking all the dignitaries
for their esteemed presence.

The programme progressed with the first technical session on major approaches to ML by
Vikas Kalra, Director, gotracko.com. Further, the second technical session emphasized on
reinforcement learning by Niharika Grover, Sr. Software Engineer, Expedia, Lastly, the third
technical session focused on Bayesian Machine Learning by Anshul Kumar Gupta, Data
Scientist, Wingfly.
The programme drew its curtains down with an inter-college IT Quiz and prize and certificate
distribution ceremony. The seminar was organised by Prof. Ritu Aggarwal.

India’s first Techno-Research-Startup 3 day meet organized by Universal innovators, SIIF and Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies held at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies in association with National Institute of Technology Patna and University of Valladolid, Spain happened between 21st-23rd Feb 2020. This was the 3-day mega event consisted of “Where Startup meets investor” event and International Conference ICICC-2020, attended by more than 800 startup entrepreneurs, researchers, students, industrialists, academicians and scientists.

The 3-day event started with the first ever “Where Startup Meets Investor”, where young and established 29 startups pitched their ideas in front of 15 VC & Angel investors and Jury members for direct funding. Indian Angel Networks, Nasscom, TiE Group, Huddle, 100x.VC, and many more angel investors took part in the event. More than 10 startups cleared the first round of direct funding. This event was inaugurated by Dr. Poonam Verma, Principal SSCBS, Dr. Ashish Khanna, Dr. Deepak Gupta of Universal Innovators and Mr. Naresh Priyadarshi, CEO SIIF. Around 150 strong community of startups and investors attended the meet on the first day of the event which also witnessed 5 invited talks on several topics of startup development stages by keynote speakers.

On day 2, International Conference on innovative Computing and Communication (ICICC-2020) was inaugurated by the launching Springer AISC series and Elsevier SSRN series proceedings. ICICC-2020 have received a total of 803 papers with only 195 papers have been accepted for publication in Springer AISC series with an acceptance ratio of just 24% and only 121 papers have been accepted for publication in Elsevier SSRN series with an acceptance ratio of just 15%. The event has a participation of over 700 delegates/researchers/students from 24 countries during the 3 days of techno research meet. Last year the ICICC conference was organized at Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic, Europe.

Bettering it’s previous five editions Fashion Lifestyle Magazine launched its Sixth Edition which turned out to be bigger and grander than ever. The magazine was unveiled by the cover personality and India’s only female rock artist and bollywood music sensation Shibani Kashyap at the majestic Aab Mahal at Radisson Hotel Dwarka. The occasion was also marked by launch of Women Empowerment themed 2020 Calendar where Shibani Kashyap adorned the January page. Women super achievers were honoured under two categories Top 21 Record Holders and Top 10 Achievers. A cool afternoon tested the golfers to the hilt at the picturesque Classic Golf and Country Club here on Friday but there were more reasons than just a victory to keep the corporate honchos & amateurs.

Former crickter Badrinath was also testing his golfing skills at the most sought after corporate tournament.

“We have been supporting many young and budding golfers for 20 years now. It is easy to pick up the sport (golf) but to sustain it is the real challenge,” Amit Luthra, founder, President of Golf Foundation said.

“It is heartening to see that our protege Rashid Khan and brand ambassador Shubhankar Sharma are doing so well. Rashid is certain to represent the country at the Olympics and Shubhankar is likely to join him too,” added Luthra, who was part of the Indian team that won the gold medal at the 1982 Asian Games & also a Arjun Awardee

Besides Rashid, the Golf Foundation has been able to engineer many success stories in Indian golf. Ashok Kumar, S Chikkarangappa and four-time world junior champion Shubham Jaglan are just some of the names who have benefited from the support provided by the foundation.

For its contribution to supporting underprivileged but talented youngsters, the Golf Foundation was awarded the prestigious Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar in 2017 by Honorable President Ramnath Kovind ji.

यह पहल भारत सरकार के प्राकृतिक गैस आधारित अर्थव्यवस्था के दृष्टिकोण के अनुरूप है, जो बेहतर पर्यावरण, बेहतर जीवनशैली एवं सुविधाजनक परिवहन को समर्थन देता है। इस दृष्टिकोण को साकार करने के लिए पेट्रोलियम एवं नैचुरल गैस मंत्रालय, देश की उर्जा में नैचुरल गैस की हिस्सेदारी 6 फीसदी से बढ़ाकर 15 फीसदी तक पहुंचाने के लिए काम कर रहा है। गेल ज़्यादा से ज़्यादा शहरों में नैचुरल गैस पाईपलाईन एवं शहरी गैस वितरण नेटवर्क बिछाकर देश में नैचुरल गैस के बुनियादी ढांचे के विकास के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है, जो न केवल बड़े पैमाने पर लोगों को लाभान्वित करेगी बल्कि हरित परिवहन के लिए रीढ़ की भूमिका भी निभाएगी।
इस पहल के तहत नागरिकों से अनुरोध किया गया है कि इस दिशा में ज़िम्मेदारी लें, हरित परिवहन को अपनाएं और वायू प्रदूषण को कम करने के लिए ऑनलाईन शपथ लें। जैसे 1. नैचुरल गैस के साथ हरित दिशा में बढ़ने की शपथ। 2. कार पूल अपनाने की शपथ। 3. सार्वजनिक परिवहन अपनाने की शपथ। 4. छोटी दूरी को पैदल तय करने की शपथ तथा 5. हवा को साफ रखने की शपथ।
