SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) has shown splendid performance on the placement arena with more than 8200 students getting job offers in the present placement season. This year’s placement figures managed to surpass the previous year’s achievement where 3020 offers were received from big four IT companies namely TCS, Cognizant, Infosys and Wipro.

With this, the prestigious educational institution based at Kattankulathur near Chennai in Tamilnadu has managed to break all records with regards to placement. That is not all, about 625 companies are said to have made more than 1965 dream and super dream offers to its students. Super dream offer is where pay package is about Rs 10 lakhs per annum and a dream offer has a pay scale of about Rs 5 lakhs per annum.

At end of the first day in this years’ placement season, TCS made 1437 offers, Infosys made 1315 offers. About 1175 offers poured in from Cognizant and Wipro made 822 offers, said Director, Career Centre at SRMIST, Sriram S Padmanabhan. Apart from this, TCS has made 183 offers under ‘Digital Track’ (7 lakhs per annum). This is the highest number of offers made by these four companies in any single campus in the country, he said.

Good performance with regards to placement is expected to continue as more companies are likely to visit the intitution as the present placement season will continue till April/May this year.

The highlight of the present placement is offer from Microsoft. This stood to be the highest with Rs 41.6 lakhs per annum. Other top recruiters are Amazon (18 offers of 32 lakhs per annum), Barclays (25 offers of 10 lakhs per annum) and startup Udaan (4 offers of 30 lakhs per annum). Organizations like Veritas and Pay Pal have made internship linked placement offers.

Management Education and Research Institute, Janakpuri, New Delhi organized NationalFinance Seminar 2020 on Leveraging Fintech for Business. The seminar, organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the college attempted to explorethe emerging dimensions of ongoing technologies used in finance sector and to find out theinnovative strategies to sustain in the turbulent business environment.

The programme commenced with its inaugural session graced by the Chief Guest, Sunil Soni,General Manager, Punjab National Bank; Guest of Honour, Naveen Gupta, Zonal Head,Delhi NCR, ICICI Bank; Shri I.P. पाकिस्तान में रह गए हिंदू, सिख, ईसाई, हाजरा व अहमदिया अल्पसंख्यकों के विरुद्ध हिंसा, नाबालिग अल्पसंख्यक कन्याओं के अपहरण, बलात्कार, धर्मांतरण एवं जबरन विवाह तथा अल्पसंख्यकों के धर्म स्थानों पर हमले लगातार जारी हैं इसको लेकर नेशनल अकाली दल के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष परमजीत सिंह पम्मा भारत यात्रा पर आ रहे अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति श्री डोनाल्ड ट्रंप से पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करने की मांग को लेकर जंतर-मंतर पर मार्च निकाला।

MAHASHIVRATRI is a very auspicious day as per Indian Culture and rituals. people keep fast, go to the temples and offer hundreds of Kgs of fruits and thousands of litres of milk to Lord Shiva.

Dr. Meenaa Mahaajjan, Founder of Siddhi -powered by humanity took charge to make a difference in the way we think and celebrate our festivals and she dedicated this MAHASHIVRATRI to a Cause. The Cause was to celebrate SHAKTI before we celebrate SHIVA

She along with her team of dedicated volunteers decided to celebrate the Essence of SHIVA AND SHAKTI BOTH by organising two events on the same day.

First, Team Siddhi celebrated the Essence of Shakti – the feminine energy by organising an educational drive for underprivileged girls In Raghubir Nagar, New Delhi. They spoke to 200 girls about their education and made them aware of basic and menstrual hygiene and self care. The three hours drive came to a conclusion after distributing menstrual hygiene kits to these youth girls. The most touching part of this drive was that while we talk about big projects and development, the ground reality is very different. Girls are still not able to express themselves forget making choices !

In the evening of the same day Essence of Shiva – the masculine energy was celebrated at Dr Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi.

The event was attended by many dignitaries from Delhi Women Police Force, Indian Army and Indian Navy, CRPF, RAF, Lions club.

The program began with an educational talk on SHIVA & SHAKTI by Dr Meenaa Mahaajjan where she shared the concept and the science behind the Essence of SHIVA & SHAKTI and how a common man or woman can imbibe that essence is their day to day life.

An hour of Mahamrituanjay Chanting and meditation was lead by Dr Meenaa Mahaajjan keeping the intention of WORLD PEACE. We all are alarmed at how nature is reversing itself due to the harm we have caused and the imbalance we have created. Together all devotees chanted for healing all the people across the world including the ones effected with the deadly corona virus.

Mantra Chanting and Meditation are not just religious beliefs. It has scientific aspects of it. As shared by Dr Meenaa Mahaajjan these processes can help an individual heal themselves and reach to their pure potential.

राजस्थानी अकादमी ने होली और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के उपलक्ष पर इंडिया हैबिटेट सेंटर, गुलमोहर हॉल, 19 फरवरी, 2020 को बुधवार को अपना वार्षिक कार्यक्रम 29 वां कवि सम्मेलन सम्मेलन और 7 वां नारी गौरव सम्मान 2020 आयोजित किया। अध्यक्ष श्री गौरव गुप्ता ने अपने स्वागत भाषण में कहा कि पिछले 29 वर्षों से लगातार कवयित्री सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया जा रहा है जिसमें अकादमी की महिला सदस्य कविताएँ सुनाने के लिए आगे आती हैं। यह अपनी तरह का एक कार्यक्रम है जहाँ महिला कवियों के लिए एक संगोष्ठी होती है। श्रीमती सुमन माहेश्वरी ने अपने संबोधन में बताया कि इस आयोजन की अवधारणा 29 साल पहले श्रीमती आशा रानी लखोटिया और श्री आर.एन. लखोटिया द्वारा की गई थी | श्री आर.एन. लखोटिया जिन्होंने अपने स्वर्गीय निवास के लिए जनवरी में हम सबको छोड़ दिया था, इस कार्यक्रम में उनकी याद आयी क्योंकि यह 29 वर्षों में पहली बार था जब वह शारीरिक रूप से उपस्थित नहीं थे। आयोजन के मुख्य अतिथि सांसद और पूर्व मंत्री श्री अशोक बाजपेयी थे। संगोष्ठी में प्रसिद्ध अभिनेत्री – श्रीमती जयश्री अरोड़ा, ए.ए.एफ.टी. की कुलाधिपति – डॉ संदीप मारवाह, राजस्थानी फाउंडेशन के आयुक्त – धीरज श्रीवास्तव, बर्किनो फासो के राजनयिक – श्री कौलीबेल डी. हेर्वे, एम्स के रजिस्टर, ऋषिकेश – श्री बी एल चौधरी, बीकानेरवाला से श्री नवरतन अग्रवाल की उपस्थिति देखी गई । इस वर्ष के विषय ‘मन’ पर कविताओं का पाठ करने वाली सदस्य श्रीमती अलका माहेश्वरी, श्रीमती ममता मिश्रा, श्रीमती नीलम आनंद, श्रीमती निशा भार्गव, श्रीमती प्रवेश धवन, श्रीमती प्रतिभा सिंघल, श्रीमती पुष्पा शर्मा, श्रीमती सुमन माहेश्वरी, श्रीमती शांति शर्मा, श्रीमती सुनीता बंसल, श्रीमती उमा मालवीय थीं । 7 नारी गौरव सम्मान 2020 के तहत निम्नलिखित व्यक्तित्वों को सम्मानित किया गया, श्रीमती अरुशी निशंक (पर्यावरण कार्यकर्ता), श्रीमती बिजय लक्ष्मी (शिक्षाविद), डॉ. दीपा गुप्ता (शिक्षाविद), श्रीमती दीपाली सिन्हा (कथकली कलाकार), डॉ. दीपिका कृष्णा (चिकित्सा उद्यमी), श्रीमती एकता सिब्बल (आध्यात्मिक चिकित्सक), श्रीमती एटी गुप्ता (उद्यमी), श्रीमती इरा सिंघल (सोशल एक्टिविस्ट), श्रीमती ईशा भंडारी (इंटरनेशनल सोशल साइंटिस्ट), सुश्री मिली ऐशवर्या (प्रकाशक), सुश्री नैन्सी जुनेजा (शिक्षाविद), सुश्री नीरू सहगल (सोशलिस्ट), श्रीमती नेहा सिंह कंबोज (पी.आर. सलाहकार), श्रीमती परिधि शर्मा (सोशल एक्टिविस्ट), श्रीमती प्रगना परांडे (सरकार सेवक), श्रीमती प्रियांशी उज्जैन (उद्यमी), श्रीमती रीमा गर्ग (व्यवसायी), श्रीमती रेखा वोहरा (हीलर), श्रीमती रिंकू तुलसियान श्रॉफ (फैशन डिज़ाइनर), श्रीमती रुचिका ढींगरा अरोरा (उद्यमी), श्रीमती सुरूचि सेठ (फैशन डिजाइनर), श्रीमती वेंडी मेहरा (बिजनेसवुमन), श्रीमती विंकी सिंह (फैशन डिजाइनर) । इस कार्यक्रम को उपस्थित लोगों और प्रतिभागियों द्वारा एक बड़ी सफलता माना गया।

कभी-कभी, हम अपने किसी दोस्त या सहकर्मी को किसी “बिल्डर” घोटाले के बारे में बात करता पाते हैं कि कैसे कोई उस जाल में फंस गया या वह ठगी का शिकार हो गया। कई स्थानीय दैनिक अखबार अक्सर इसके बारे में लिखते-छापते रहते हैं और खरीदार अक्सर प्रॉपर्टी खरीदने का निर्णय लेते हुए घबराते हैं। रियल एस्टेट घोटालों में कानूनी धोखाधड़ी से लेकर कई चीजें मुफ्त में देने के वादे तक शामिल होते हैं।

ऐसा ही एक नया फ्रॉड बिल्डर है पीडीएम हाई-टैक बिल्डर, बहादुरगढ़, हरियाणा। पीडीएम हाई-टैक बिल्डर ने अपनी फर्जी कंपनियों के जरिए 200 करोड़ रुपये से भी अधिक का घपला किया है और 400 से अधिक होम बायर्स की मेहनत की कमाई को लूटा है। पिछले 10 सालों से, लोग अपने फ्लैट को पाने की उम्मीद कर रहे हैं और एक अदालत से दूसरी अदालत में चक्कर लगा रहे हैं लेकिन उनकी कहीं कोई नहीं सुन रहा।

कई शिकायतों के बाद भी, ईओडब्ल्यू, एसएफआईओ और कॉर्पोरेट मामलों का मंत्रालय भी ठगी और धोखाधड़ी करने वाले बिल्डर के खिलाफ कोई कानूनी कार्रवाई नहीं कर रहा है।

इसके खिलाफ, पीडीएम हाई-टैक के खरीदारों ने 20 फरवरी को को बंगला साहब गुरुद्वारा, दिल्ली में जय सिंह रोड पुलिस मुख्यालय के सामने धरना दिया। इसमें सभी आयु वर्ग के लोग, बच्चे, वरिष्ठ नागरिक, रक्षा कर्मी आदि शामिल हुए और ईओडब्ल्यू से पूछा कि भ्रष्ट बिल्डरों के खिलाफ गंभीर कार्रवाई कब की जायेगी। बिल्डरों के खातों में पड़े कुछ लाख रुपए फ्रीज करने से समस्या हल नहीं होगी; वास्तव में बिल्डरों को सलाखों के पीछे किया जाना चाहिए।

ईओडब्ल्यू लीपापोती में लिप्त हैं, क्योंकि वे बिल्डर को पहले से ही सूचना देकर उसे गिरफ्तार करने के लिए जाते हैं और खाली हाथ लौट आते हैं।

हालांकि, पीडीएम मालिकों के खिलाफ माननीय दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय के निर्देश पर एफआईआर दर्ज की गई है, परंतु होम बायर्स कुछ पुख्ता और निष्पक्ष जांच के इंतजार में हैं।

हम लोकतंत्र के अपने चारों स्तंभों – कार्यपालिका, न्यायपालिका, विधायिका और प्रेस से अनुरोध करते हैं कि वे आगे आएं और हजारों निर्दोष मकान खरीदारों की मदद करें, जो अपने घर में बैठकर शांतिपूर्ण जीवन की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं।
